Uncommon Therapists can help you with…
|
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)Post traumatic stress disorder occurs when the memory of a traumatic incident hasn’t been stored properly by the brain. It remains as a pattern in the amygdala, so that anything that reminds you of the initial trauma can trigger off the feelings again. This trigger can be as simple as a thought or image on television. The traumatized brain will try and rid itself of the high arousal by dreaming it through. Repeated attempts by the brain to do this can produce repetitive nightmares relating to the trauma. The high anxiety caused by a traumatised brain can often fuel depression. Using the comfortable and highly effective ‘rewind technique’ your Uncommon Therapist should cure most PTSD in one session leaving you free of flashbacks and nightmares. |
